With UFC 205 just around the corner, the MMA promoter held its press conference on Thursday afternoon inviting each fighter on the official card, and boy was it show. Everyone in attendance was there waiting for Conor McGregor, including his forthcoming opponent Eddie Alvarez. Eddie walked onto the stage, but quickly found out McGregor was running late, of course, and eventually walked off after being heckled by the New York crowd. When Conor, the Featherweight champ, finally made his grand entrance, in a white fur coat no less, he snatched Alvarez’s Lightweight belt and placed it next to his. When Eddie returned, the two squabbled a bit, then Conor attempted to throw a chair his way. Cooler heads eventually prevailed and they began throwing verbal jabs instead.
UFC 205 will take place November 12, 2016 at Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York.
